RGS Cam Blocks

Sasha is going to need a new set of redax cam blocks, the ones on the bike have a small hole squirting oil at the cam lobe, maybe 1mm. I have seen ones with larger holes, which is correct for the RGS?

RGS had the small holes, but I'm sure Red can advise the best option. The factory may have wanted to keep more oil down the bottom for the injection to the middle crank bearings which changed to be needle rollers on the RGS and have a slightly different oil supply and perhaps requirement (crowded roller bearing IIRC).

You need to keep in mind the 120 engine has the largest oil pump of all the triples in terms of flow capacity. Also larger than most aftermarket pumps. Gears are of a larger diametre, bigger and less teeth.

The inner mains of the 120s (caged needles) also have fairly small supply holes, this would also restrict the amount of oil finding its way to the big-ends. For some unknown reason, these restrictions seem to be meant to raise total oil pressure a (little) bit.
