Can this be right? My centrestand seems to be adjusted correctly, but I've just been stripping off the front end of the bike and the weight (even without the front wheel) is biased towards the front end, so much so that a 25kg bag of soil on the back of the bike wasn't enough to balance it and stop the whole lot rolling forward off the stand. Fortunately I realised this was going to happen before I completely removed the front axle.
OK, it's easy to chock up the frame at the front with a bit of wood once the centre pipe is moved out of the way so the whole lot doesn't collapse, but what the hell do you do if you need to remove the front wheel away from the workshop? It would be even worse with the tank on and full of fuel.

PS My head bearings are very notchy and the forks don't appear to have any rebound damping whatsoever, and yet it still handled pretty damn well.
