RGS Clock Perspex Repair

I have a crack in the curved perspex cover on the clocks.

Does anyone know of someone in the UK who can "invisibly" repair cracks who can provide a replacement cover.
 
It would seem that Saab sold the Autobianchi A112 through its dealers badged as a Lancia.

I wonder if you could carefully dremel the cover off. I’d probably go through the front. Then form a new piece to the curve before gluing it on, then use the dremel again to trim.

I have the rev counter out of an autobianchi which I can recalibrate to work on the RGS but I did not realise they used the whole binnacle. The rev counter does not work which I suspect is how the perspex got cracked trying to disassemble. I may cut the centre out of the cracked piece to leave the edge fixings and then bend a new piece of acrylic and glue around the edges. The edges are hidden behind the rubber seal on the inner fairing and an extra 3mm thickness should be easily accommodated.
 
I changed the perpex in my RGS. I was lucky to get a replacement from Malcolm Cox, I think it was his last one. He may know where to get one made?
Make sure you get a good seal or you'll get condensation.
 
My local glaziers sell Polycarb sheet, I think most do these days. Its more expensive than Perspex - though you don't exactly need a lot- It can be bent carefully with heat gun, though it needs a bit of practice learning when it will bend but not burn, but it has far better trauma and U/V resistance than Acrylic/Perspex once in use.
