RGS Corsa std ignition pickup wiring spec

I'll probably have to rewire the ignition pickups at some point and wondering which wire to use. Should I use 20 or 22awg silicone cable.

The voltage & current is minimal but I'd opt for 20 AWG for it's mechanical strength.  Also easier to find terminals that will properly crimp on to it (0.5mm2 equiv)

Silicone insulation has good heat resistance but is very soft and easily nicked- make sure you sleeve it if it hasn?t got a fibreglass sheath.
I usually use wire with pvc insulation

Thanks for the replies guys, will heat shrink the joins and then heat resistant sleeve to the connector block, will go with 20 awg.
