RGS (Corsa) tyres. Recommendations?

An old chesnut I know; but with tyres, things change so frequently and, seeing as the Michelin Pilot Activs that I fitted the last time seem to be no longer made, I thought I'd take the risk and ask ... :sneaky:

For about the same money, it seems I have a choice between Conti Gos, Metzeler Roadtecs, Bridgestone BT46s and Avon Roadriders.

For barely more money, there's Dunlop Arrowmax Streetsmarts. I gotta admit I like the tread pattern of these. Hopefully it will be less inclined to develop the scalloping problem that seems to come with the more traditional patterns. In the past, I've had this with both Roadriders and BT45s (as was). A right PITA (and the reason I went for the Pilot Activs).

So any thoughts?
TIA.

Thanks André. For the moment, I can only find Road Attack 3 or 4, not 2 ... and neither 3 or 4 seems to be offered in the right sizes.
Imjustbhad a look to the RGS, yes it is Road Attack 3 actally, front 10….. and rear 130/.., but also the no 2 was a good tire.

I am assuming standard wheels ? Have fitted Avon Roadrider 2 to my S2 Jota and they are brilliant - done about a 1000 miles very happy
Thanks Sir Sidney. I'm kinda prejudiced against Roadriders after two disappointing experiences - poor life and early scalloping. But that was with the earlier version, so I shouldn't be against giving them another chance ...

I suggest fitting something round and made of some form of rubber. After that it’s tends to be down to personal preference as most tyres that will fit will probably do the job. 😜
I am totally with you. Today there are many tires in the marked with good performance and it is more a question as you said of the personal preference, if you wount buy the cheapest chinese or whatever

I have noted over 44 years of riding a 1200TS that a front tyre with a centre groove almost always gives good results. Not that easy to siurce anymore and dont go for replica Dunlop TT100's they were great in the day (early 70's) but are now crap.

Interesting.... As I think the blockish tread pattern looks fabulous on our bikes. I know that's kinda stating the obvious (70s stylee and all that), but it's great to hear they work well also.

The disadvantage with TT100s was made clear, to me, when I first fitted a Pirelli Phantom to the front, on mine.
After a spirited day at Mallory Park, where the Phantom proved itself a significant improvement on the Dunlop, I was surprised to see that the separated tread blocks, on the edge of the tyre, had been almost completely shredded, off on the right hand side (clockwise track).
I replaced the rear with a Pirelli as soon as I got home and wouldn't fit a TT100 again, even in a modern rubber compound.
