I have Jota pipes on mine as i like the sound - Ian spent several eons looking for an original Corsa silencer whihc has an extra hole in the backView attachment 85116

That’s possible I guess but maybe not so tidy
- the standard pipes make a nice sound at high revs but to be fair Coxys chrome pipes sound really nice at low and high rpm

The parts manual lists several exhausts with and without holes under different part numbers. There’s a good thread on the forum here;

Does anyone know if all Corsas were fitted with chrome silencers? I cannot find any period images of Corsas with anything other than chrome silencers fitted. My late model Corsa came with original silencers (stamped 63 503 193) that are painted black and I am wondering whether to have them...

Oop, good point. Although the Corsa page has one of the SFC part numbers listed but instructs to make 4 x 8mm holes. The ones listed for the RGS are part number 63 503 190.

For German TuV requirements, most likely.
Switzerland, for example, got RGS with smaller exhaust outlets. Possibly France as well, they were rather strict too. Germany recieved the same cans as the ROW. Corsa/SFC cans are stock RGS/RGA with a quartett of holes randomly driven into the end caps by Luigi. Judging on their spacing, he must have had a lot of bad days at the office...
