Hello everyone.

Does anyone know where I might get hold of a pair of the higher 'touring' RGS 'bars?

If anyone has retro-fitted them l should be grateful for any tips.

Best to all in these difficult times.

Andrew

RGA or Executive bars.
You will need the appropriate dash pad too.
Cables and hoses need repositioning in order to make the extra stretch.
I have done it several times.

Try Wolfgang Haerter in Canada.

Repositioning, but not replacing?
I ask as I have a pair of bars and dash pad here and am considering fitting them soon :D

I managed several times with this conversion by re-routing the clutch hose, choke and switchgear cables.
Can't recall if I had to get a longer hose from brake m/c to splitter box as the last 2 I did I fitted a modern m/c that had a brake switch built in, so I could run 2 individual hoses direct from m/c to the calipers.

Definitely need longer hose from master to splitter  ;)

As Grant says...... can re-jig/route all others to suit higher bars ! Boy is it worth doing..... ergonomics are great  8)

Thank you again.

Yes that conversion will be "reassuringly expensive".
But I 'spect you get an orange sharky-bottle-opener-thingy with every order...?

That has downsized to a beer coaster now

make your own, here's mine (not an RGS)

I recommend finding either Suzuki or Honda 750 bars - Cut them to length - Same PROFILE !

Actually the Breganzie Factory used 70 Honda 750CBX bars for numerous years on their 750 SF (SFC) and early 3Cyls.
