Injury is forcing me to sell my RGS that I have owned for the last 29 years, it was first registered in1983 and I bought it in 1993 and I am the second owner from new, it is MOT'd until April 2023, has 79,000 kms on the clock and has matching frame and engine numbers.

Briefly it has P 09 callipers fitted instead of the usual P 08, gold valve emulators and Wilber spring conversion at the front end.
Maxton T260 shock absorbers at the rear.
Braided brake and clutch hoses.
Wheels have been powder coated satin black.
Odyssey extreme PC 680 battery.
Regina gold 530ZRP. ( extra heavy duty Z ring ) chain and sprockets fitted at 67k.
Iwis twin primary and cam chain fitted at 67k.
Jota silencers.

This has been a well cared for bike and I would consider it to be in very good condition considering its age.

Any sensible questions from genuine interested parties just ask away.

Looking for £8250 ono

Joe

Hi I don't know if I was being a bit optimistic with the asking price as there was not a lot to compare it to so I think I will drop the price down to £7750 ono. to see if that generates any interest, don't want it just sitting in the garage gathering dust but don't want to give it away either.

Joe, some pics might help atracting attention... The RGS is for sure quality wise the finest of the Laverda triples and one of the most innovative bikes of its time.

I don't think that's the bike? No Maxton shocks or satin black wheels, standard calipers, wrong name etc...
I must admit Joe's advert had me re-gawping RGSs. i had one in the day and it only really made sense to me on long trips, for which it was sublime.
A more recent dalliance with it's SFC younger brother left me preferring the RGS! Mostly a riding position thing.
Anyway, as has been said already, post a few pics Joe!

Yes nice bike but that's not mine advertised on eBay I will post pictures in a couple of days, I would say that mine is in as good condition if not better but that is for others to decide.

Joe

wow, that one looks really superb! Still with original turn signals! Exhausts, suspension and the screws on the fairing spring to eye, but not bad at all! Very clean looking bike on these pics ;-)

Without wishing to piss on the Ebay seller's bonfire, (and judging by the photos alone) this bike is lots better than the Ebay one.

Good luck with the sale - I have to say I am very tempted, but have too many bikes already.

"Still with original turn signals! Exhausts, suspension"
you need to go to Specsavers Lothar, exhaust is upside down Jota pipes, not original and correct way around Jota pipes are now avaialable as well, and the rear shocks are Maxton plus the (if you believe the sticker the front forks are Maxton (modified) as well, idicators? well you could talk long and short stalks but I wont as at some point only short ones were fitted.

as Winterton would say "bloody nice bike" nothing at all, not to like and IMHO a reasonable price, by now it will be gone.
CLEM
good luck to the new owner, you will enjoy it.

Quentin, I think I’m one of the older boys so no breaks allowed 😂😂👍 Now how’s the the two big projects in your life going ? Meaning of cause your bike and house extension 😀
