Rgs headlight clips

Fiat 126 I think. you can buy a set of 2 absolutely brand new Fiat 126 headlights for something like 30 ? including all the necessary clips or - buy one NOS (one single headlight) from Andy Wagner for 183?; but then the clips are old and prone to be hardened, too, probably...

both examples are for right side driving areas (like in Germany, USA or most parts of Europe except UK)

you can have the clips though separately and cheap, too:

for 1?/piece it is not worth the trouble to create and print them...

Don't know how "springy" the printable plastics are, but it may be an opportunity to revise the design a little so they last a bit longer than the proverbial "ride around the block".

Hi Piet,

I replaced my headlight with an aftermarket Fiat 126 headlight including the clips roughly 16 years ago. They still look good as far as I know, but I will take another look at them shortly when I mount the meanwhile completely at home Carbon set from Boba...  ;)

One of my customers 3D printed in plastic, a machine component we sell for $$$$$$$
Then once printed and test fitted sent it off the data to be 3D printed in stainless  :o :o

Twenty years ago, such technology would have been unheard of.

Yeah, even complicated-as-hell aeroplane landing gear components are now "printed" in titanium!  Bloody science fiction!

Will be ordering a Prusa MK3S shortly, already have loads of ideas for all sorts of stuff.

Ditto, Lothar.  The clips that came with the replacement Polish h/lamp that I fitted .. What? 12 years ago,  still seem to be doing ok  :D.
