RGS Instrument Panel Printed Circuit

I enquired 18 months ago for a customer bike I was rebuilding, none available.
I ended up hard wiring in the dash and warning light's etc.
Doing the same on a customer Ducati 900 s2 at the moment.
 
Have repaired these instrument pods, as others also have done, what exact information are you seeking?

Keep in mind these types of electronics are from a past era, while certain parts or aspects can be addressed, specific intergrated circuits are obsolete. Even now, have a 1992 Mazda 929 dash instrument(s) for repair, speedo odometer are in house ND ic's, restricted space available for modification, use second generation air core drive ( speedo ) ic's and stepper motor drive ( odometer ). A technical challenge of much demand. Strip all passive componetes from the original pcb, then populate the old holes and tracks with redesign components available.

Technique used to repurpose the Tacho pcb of original RGS form, with substituted LM2917 tacho ic, ( also has been used to process variable reluctor pickups, iis ). Speedo is an eddy current device, apart from the meter movement, basic mechanical conversion front wheel to dial face. Wedge indicator lights can be catred for with modern leds, cracked plastic i use metal filled automotiove epoxy ( sort of Devcon ), with bridging copper wire embedded. Labour of love to say the least. Not economical as a business notion this type of rectification. Special skill new and old. techniques. HTH j
 
The ribbon at the tach side connection is broken through at all four contacts, almost looks as if someone had cut it with a box knife. The guides for the connector were broken and the connector was zip-tied in place. This is on the '84 that I'm getting back on the road, I have no real history on the bike save that it was owned by an apparently despondent heart surgeon who committed suicide, I purchased it from his widow 7 years ago. Some might remember it as the Colorado Laverda, it kept popping up on Craigslist for sale and would then disappear, lending to a general opinion that the whole thing was an odd scam. The purchase was an interesting experience ... the widow was mega suspicious of anyone and everyone.
 
Ok noted, have two assemblies here to see what your describing, possible rectification options for you. Though not easy, it is possible to solder the plastic strip forms with copper tracks attached. Need careful instruction, unless naturally gifted in soldering, a wry smile here Be a day or two....j
