RGS & Jota Silencers

Lads,

I have a pair of OCT's excellent silencers that look stock but are made from SS and have much larger internals and exit holes. To have a pair of spare silencers, I removed them and installed a pair of Cox steel Jota cans instead. But the funny thing is that I suspect the power curve with the unbaffled Jota cans isn't as good/smooth as it is with the baffled OCT silencers, and I don't really feel a difference on top either; it might actually feel a little slower. Headers and collector are stock. It does make a hell of a lot of noise.

The jetting has been set per an AEM AFR gauge w. O2 sensor and is close to spot-on.

Am I imagining things?

Are you talking about a stock RGS?
Probably needs more back pressure than the Jota system provides.
