I think I'd like to find Executive bags for my, new to me, RGS but I'm hearing that they're extremely rare. I've noticed here that a few RGS owners use the Hepco and Becker package.
Any leads on executive bags will be greatly appreciated. Thoughts on H&B and other options also welcomed.

Yes H &B are pretty good - fitting kit is a bit Heath Robinson but look pretty good - dont expect to carry heavy things as the main weight carrying mounting point is working on friction A7348399-F04A-496E-B74C-1ED473F94915.jpeg
 
To the best of my knowledge, Hepco and Becker still make the racks for the RGS to order. They are still available on their German website. I use the 30 litre Junior panniers and an old 40 litre Givi top box. They work fine, and are waterproof.IMG_1364.JPG
 
OK they used to only do them with a minimum 10 order run,I remember ILOC member organising an order for club member, demand must have increased, thanks Steve.

Hi Steve

as others pointed out, the Executive bags hold very little. On my RGS Executive I even have the factory Laverda badged bag iners, I think they are smaller than most Gucci purses as Clem pointed out. I use a large tank bag to hold most of my travel stuff, the bags are pretty much useless other than they look very very stylish....... After all, what self-respecting Italian Executive would want to carry around a bunch of stuff...?
 
Yes Paul, they sure do look fabulous! Classic Italian, function following form, I guess. Unobtanium anyway. $600 US for a H&B rack is a bit much.
H&B made bags for Guzzi California's for a few years with color coordinated painted panels. I've posted a want ad on the Wild Guzzi forum for a pair. Paint the panels to match the RGS would look pretty nice, I think. Long Winter ahead so plenty of time to scheme.
 
There are moulds for Executive bags in Sydney, I wonder IF it's possible to mod them keeping their style but extending their size TARDIS like. If done well I bet they would SELL. Just sowing seeds of ideas.
