Having trouble refitting mirrors don’t seem to line up can anybody advise?

My mirror brackets never quite line up without taking some of the fairing weight at the front. Make sure the fairing is located correctly on the inner and headlight also.

Sounds about right. RGS is a great looking design, but as discussed on here before, can be a right PITA to remove and refit the bodywork.

Thats because the spigot mounting bolt, off the headstock bends over time.

On the advice given here, I replaced the rubber silent block with a solid piece of aluminium. I also bent the ends of the frame where the mirrors are fitted slightly so that they are reasonably level.
Italians are brilliant at designing, but the finish still leaves a bit to be desired.
