RGS Seat unit

Hi all, looking for a single seat unit and cowl piece as fitted to the RGS model for my RGA. Any condition/colour not important as long as not damaged. Thanks in advance to anyone who has one available or knows of one for sale.

What you're actually looking for is an RGS seat unit.
The RGA came with a very different seat compared to the RGS.
Many folk (and dealers) fitted the RGS seat and rear cowl to improve the visuals.

This is an RGA seat unit.

Also, there are 3 parts all together - see below.  I have added the most common English names.

Do you need all 3?

I may have a seat.  If I do, I'll post a photo.

Try Wolfgang for the squab: laverda@lightspeed.ca
Also OCT (Roger): octeam@gmx.de.

The cowl ... hmmm.  Wolfgang again?

Un saludo

Craig

I have a mould and can make you a cowl. In fact I have one in the process of being made, so if you don?t get fixed up let me know and we can perhaps make a deal.

Many thanks Ventodue, very grateful for your help.

Hi Howard,

I found this one lurking in the garage, but ...

It's as ugly as sin and desperately needs re-covering.  But if it's any use, you can have it for nothing, just the postage - which looks to be around 25 ? within Europe.

Ciao

Craig

Thanks very much, great tip, was wondering about the lock.
Just ordered a 20mm diameter one from that advert.
Hope it's the right size.
Cheers, thanks very much
Howard

I think I ordered the 27mm Howard, but they are as cheap as chips. So no drama.

Hi Shaun,
I ordered 20mm as that was the barrel/body dia of my RGA seat Lock. Not the overall bezel diameter.
I'll not really know the actual size required until I receive the seat, but as you say "cheap as chips" so no drama if it's wrong, I?ll just get another.
Thanks again for the tip off.
Cheers
Howard.

I did make the offer to one of your valiant mob to take you thru the back roads from the Pyrenees to the Alps, but  ....

Probably just as well.  You'd have had such fun, you'd probably never have got to Breganze  :D.

(Where I did go, in the end.  But suspect I won't do it again.  Bloody hate that trip across the Po Valley.  But the Dolomites kinda made up for it).
