RGS SFC rear sprocket carrier different compared to standard RGS?

Hi All,

I just received my "second-hand" rear sprocket carrier replacement part but it is different...

The one on my RGS SFC only holds One bearing placed mostly on the outer side and fixed with a cir-clip and a spacer on the inner side while the one I received is identical to the one in the RGS parts book and holds two bearings.

I have the RGS Corsa and RGS SFC additional parts book but no mention of a different rear sprocket carrier. Neither on the laverda-paradise website.

RGS SFC wheels are of course different from standard RGS wheels.

Has there been an update in sprocket carrier or is it RGS SFC specific?

And if different, is anybody able to supply me the correct part?

Thank you for your insight on this!

Take care,
Jeroen

Jeroen,

The cush drive/sprocket carrier was revised at some stage, interchangable and fits all Laverda cast wheels.

What do you mean by RGS SFC wheels?  Both the cast Oscam wheels and the wire wheels were fitted with the stock cush drive.

Thank you Piet!

are they only interchangeable as a pair (cush-drive and sprocket carrier together)? or can I only change the sprocket carrier?

Yes, sorry, with RGS SFC wheels I meant the Oscam wheels

No, the bit that is bolted to the wheel didn't change.  New part fits all.
