RGS side stand

Thread Resurrection: just asking, so has anyone actually converted an RGS type flip up stand ?
I would also be interested to know what bits were used and see any pictures,
Personally I would prefer a non flip up with a bit more lean like I had on other bikes,

think there must be something odd about my SFC1000 sidestand - I'm thinking of lengthening it because the bike leaned over too far & had been known to topple over the side stand if there was any camber on the road.

I use the past tense because it must be >15 years since I flung the side stand into the darkest recesses of the shed to avoid further broken screens and indicators. I'm going to have to put the damn thing back on (& sort it so it doesn't flip up) because, since I buggered my ankle, I'm no longer confident clambering off the bike to put it on the centre stand...

Be careful making permanent changes to your stand. The lean angle seems very easily altered by changing shocks or any suspension settings, even changing tyres.

On the above photos you'll notice I welded a lug onto the side stand to accept the spring. It should be noted that its position is just in front of the primary chain adjuster so it doesn't hit it. For the second mounting for the spring I welded an L shaped bracket onto the frame.
The second mounting can also take the form of a plate held in position by the pivot screw holding the stand in position as done by Steve (breganzane), this also works well and doesn't require welding to the frame. I think Steve's photo appears in another thread somewhere.
The stand works well and doesn't require any feats of balance trying to hold the stand down and support the bike at the same time,
