RGS tank lining

I recently lined my RGS tank with a Caswell tank lining, but after the lining had hardened off and the fuel gauge plug removed I noticed a small area on the tunnel of the tank had not been covered by the Caswell.
To cut a long story short I don't think there is enough material in the motorcycle kit to cover the RGS tank, its surface area is too big. Either the car kit or 2 bike kits would be sufficient.
Caswell advise not to re apply lining material after the original has set, it won't stick to itself.
The question is;

Is there another liner that would adhere to the Caswell liner?

I realise that I can use as is untill the lining breaks away from the tank wall.

Any advice appreciated.
 
personally, i would not mix the liners. Buy another package and finish the job before you put fuel in first. At least that is what I would do.

in order to add another coating I would have to remove the first one, not an easy job to do with the RGS tank, apparently it's quite a messy job. unfortunately its imposable to see the dark side of the tank.
Maybe I'll run with things as they are, and when the lining starts to come off the tank attack it then.
I was hoping that there may be a quick cure.
 
I agree with Piranha: Tank lining solutions are horrific.

I would stripe the tank and inspect it thoroughly. If infected with minor various pin holes and one or two areas of weak seams - I use Lepages 24 Metal Epoxy before breaking out the torch and replace the metal. 

Nothing much worse then lighting your ass on fire because of a leaky tank.

What's really important is to maintain the tank every few years, like rattling various sized metal objects in it to descale rust flakes and treat with a Muriatic acid solution, neutralize with a base like baking soda. Always spray the tank internal with a metal preservative like Red Rust Check or WD 40 at the end of every season.

NEVER leave gas in the Tank or the Carb bowls and tubes at the of a season going into storage.
