They tend to be expensive because because men with bevel Ducatis consider them a must have.

They are expensive because the nipples snapped and people wrecked the calipers getting them out? It's hard to find any of the threaded calipers for Ceriani forks these days.

Broken nipples on 08s would be an easy fix compared to some of the stuff we see resurrected these days. Eg, Piet's Works SFC cases.

Yes but ham fisted youths like myself made a pigs ear of the job and then used up another caliper. I had a fair few caliper halves needing work a few years ago but they have gradually been repaired by people and reused. I think I have one spare halo caliper boxed up somewhere now and that one is a bit rough as well although the nipples are free.
