Just remember, if you are following 'The Ton Up Boys ' Motorcycle Club riders, the organizers, those Vintage Brit bikes have a total loss lubrication system. 
It was way worse the time I did this ride. It coincided with the 10,000 pushbike ride to the exact same place. Just to add to the fun, it was 45c. Traffic was excruciating; I thought I was close to melting my engine. I should have bailed out but didnt. So I got through and decided to come back through the Royal National Park, thinking the Pushbikes would have dissipated by then. NOPE, it was way worse on the single-lane road; nobody could pass the pushbikes, not to mention the multiple cop cars. Avoid if that pushbike ever still happens.

Good turn out, 40-50 bikes, too lazy to take photos so it never happened.....
