Just reading of his passing.
Saw the Dead a couple of times when living in San Francisco back in the day. They were cool as

First Dead show was '87 at Canada's Wonderland/Kingswood Music Theater. The best Dead show I ever saw was July 4th, 1989 at Rich Stadium in New York (Orchard Park/Buffalo). I had over a dozen Dead shows and 6 or 7 Jerry Garcia Band shows to my credit. When they were good it was awseome and when they were bad it sucked.
