RIP the Go show

Substance abuse, takes hold of any person, be surprised how easy that can evolve, like alcohol, you end up talking with a beer bottle, or a bag of weed in essence. Not a fan of weed, being harmless, for some possibly, even medical treatment a given. What is does bring, dual diagnosis and heartbreak for effected person and immediate family, ruin is high on the outcomes, let alone the daily misery and demands of someone mentally ill.

The last bit is Chicken and Egg territory. What came first, a mental health issue or a drug issue? Fine for some, really bad for others, flip a coin. Does anyone notice how Pyodelics are making a comeback in mainstream Psychology these days? Not a fan from my personal experience.

Just watched a video of Gobert - bloated, slurring talking nonsense..very sad. I can think of loads of bike racers who went off the rails, plenty of speedway riders did drink/ drugs/ race - not good.
But as Evel Kneival once said ” You ain’t going get no Joe Ice-Cream jumping a motorcycle..”

It's a fine line between sanity and insanity and the switch can affect anyone, and it's a shame whoever they are. However, we tend to take more notice when it affects someone with a higher public profile, such as this sad case.
