Sasche ignition problems

Went out for a ride on the Jota and half way it started to play up, dropping one cylinder and I blame it on a a bad dose of fuel, as I have experienced this before while using a certain brand
limped home stripped the carby's cleaned and reassembled. Didn't find any thing out of place.

OK check the Sachse ignition system, switch to test phase, no spark on middle plug.
Dig a bit deeper and one wire was loose, the screw had backed out. Now sorted. This system has been installed for 10-12 years trouble free.

Is there any value in using a dab of Loctite on these screws or would that only stuff it up?

Only posting this to maybe help others.
 
Sounds like you lucked out.
When my Sachs dropped out on the middle cylinder luckily 4 kays from home on a 100kay destination I turned for home and 3 kays later the outer cylinders dropped out.
Turn out to be a faulty box. Had to jump on the the ever reliable gsbm.
Red supplied another box
that sorted the problem.
Living fairly remote I now keep a spare box on the bike as I've lost trust in them. The box had only done about 10k kays.

I've had this problem as well as others in the club, the screws do tend to work loose from time to time.
Not sure that locktite is the way to go, they're only small screws and easy to bugger up the heads.
Try a dab of nail polish on each head so that it will seal against the body to prevent the screws coming loose.
Either that or keep an electricians screw driver handy whilst riding.
