Hand Made Fibreglass in Sydney made me a screen for the SS Bevel fairing on my 3C. Not sure but maybe they have a system to make them for applications? Some kind of mould? Mine was $160 and they matched the holes in the fibreglass, the really impressive bit was the 30 solid minutes of polishing on a wheel they did before fitting it. I was told that was to remove all the scratches, I couldn't see any even before he started and it was clear as a bell after he finished. Spactaularty good quality work.
 
If your old one is not complitely in pieces, they can use it as a mould. A flat piece of macrolon will be put on it and with hot air, they stretch it until it suits completely over (or in?) the old screen. then they cut the edges, drill and polish it. This way you can make easily copies of existing screens. If they want to make more than one, a mauld is the better way.

Hand Made did mine. When did they do yours Vince?
 
I broke mine in Victoria heading home from the first NSW club Tassie ride. It was during one of the multiple U-turns we did while lost on the Rifton Spur. I tried to do that U-turn on a steep hill and stopped mid-turn to check for traffic, my downhill leg wasn't long enough and me and the bike did a virtually stopped tip-over. Later that day the bike started running like crap. The fixer eventually found that the battery strap had snapped and that allowed the battery to move and the earth cable to brake 50mm up the cable and under the insulation.
So it was done 2 maybe 3 years ago, seems like a few months though. I love bikes that will take a solid tip-over and only have minimum damage, and I have plenty of experience pulling shoulder roles doing exatly this on dirtbikes.

Did you head down a fire trail ?
 
I was following some tree hugger bloke who had a GPS but no audio or headphones, we did a lot of U-turns on that ride. We were in some village and took a wrong turn, I saw them heading back and tried my U-turn at a T intersection, mid-turn I suddenly thought better do a head check and BINGO. I might have been a bit more north of the Rifton heading to Mansfield and The Alps. It definitely was in some town with lots of people as I had a nice audience for my summersault. Some even helped lift the bike, it was that steep the bars where well below the wheel bottoms if you get my meaning, a big dead lift needed.

Yep, that guy Dave.. he made on for the Rad Jota.. take your old broken one in if you still have it.
I'll try to find the detail, but he is just behind Motorcycle Sportsman rooms..
 
In Melbourne I get mine done by Screens For Bikes. he's about 2km from my house but does screens for many retailers. Top quality stuff, 3mm perspex, $130 for an old GSX-R and ZXR.

Probably helps to say where you live; if you're in Florida there's no point mentioning someone in Melbourne (Australia - I think there IS a Melbourne in Florida!).

Yep. Jim Morrison of The Doors was born in Melbourne, Florida.
 
Lowy, I was going to suggest a place in St Augustine Florida but that probably isn't going to help you much  :D.
And responding to the Jim Morrison comments, yes there is a Melbourne in Florida, although the word is pronounced Melbawrrrn. Not the correct pronunciation, Melb'n.
Linda Ronstadt (who I worship) commented that when she was touring as a warmup for the Doors (a truly great pairing) she used to feel like she was in a double feature movie show, Bambi and Deep Throat.

Ha! Nice one Linda. As for Melbawrrrn ... the class ic was when the Am Cup came down under and the boat trying to keep it here was Kook-o-baw-roh. Kinda like Ska-baw-roh?
