Thanks to all santas little helpers on the forum, you guys indeed do rock!

I sent my SF hump seat off to santas workshop to get re-covered, should see it next month.  Hopefully not reindeer leather......

Yep, best wishes to all on the forum for the new year. May all your problems be solvable quickly and cheaply.

It's slightly surreal here in the land of no "disease which shall not be named"  I really hope the reat of the world can get through it quickly.

I had to talk my way out of hospital for Xmas. Minor post-op probs which will go away. Time will heal.

Ditto. The doc suggested I stay in and get Xmas dinner in hospital, but I declined. Already had someone lined up to cook a turkey at my place. It was an excellent repast.

I was just chatting over the fence to my next door neighbour. He has sailed so many Sydney-Hobart yacht races that Christmas day for him has traditionally been preparation day for the start of the race. He refers to xmas day as "Boxing Day eve". Unfortunately there will be no race starting on boxing day this year due to the covid outbreak in Sydney.

For NZ motorcyclists, Xmas day is "the day before Wanganui"  It's on.  But it looks like being a wet one.
From cold and bitter experience that's not fun. I must try and make it again next year.

Cam, my attempts at exit were spurred no end by a 3.2 quake at 1AM a couple of nights back. Not pleasant on the 3rd floor of ChCh Public Hosp.
Everyone's adrenaline level went up....

Yesterday we got following Christmas greetings from Breganze:
