Seats

Just got back from picking up my project and popped in to Birmingham for a pint. Parked cheekily by RK Leighton (seat people). He tells me that he will soon be able to offer pucker Jota seats with hump. I have had seats done by them before and they were good. If anybody needs seats redoing and they get them to a show that i am attending, I will gladly get them to the workshop.

I have the total opposite experience with that company.

I bought a loose seat cover for my 1200 and fitted it myself. It looked AWFUL. Wrong grain on the material, Laverda logo painted on, Seat cover too short so pulling seat foam away from tank. Just dreadful. I phoned them up to mention this and the guy badmouthed me saying I just wanted a free cover from them.
I had actually called to point out the problem and to say that it may have been down to my fitting of it. I sent the whole seat to them for professional fitting. It came back exactly as I had done it. So I paid for it twice and threw it away. I then ordered a cover from Eldorado and was mightily impressed.
I did have a seat for my PC 50 restoration done by RK Leighton and they did a good job.
The sole problem with the Laverda cover was it was ill fitting and of cheap appearance due to wrong texture covering.

I have to say as I find.
I can post photos if anyone wants to see how bad it looked. Just need to try to find them.

What are the seats listed on "that" auction site like? They look OK in the pictures but...
