Sending a photo via pm, tech help Rob or others,

How do you attach a photo in a pm ?,I click on image and insert image but it"s http etc , not being of sound tech mind I"m afraid any advice welcome.

Not sure what you mean Shaun, when you say 'it's http etc'. Where is the photo stored that you are trying to attach? If it's on the device you're using then you will be able to navigate straight to it after clicking the picture icon.
If it is somewhere else on the web you'll need to add it as a link using the link icon to insert the http / https URL
 
I am in the same boat Shaun. I am absolutely convinced the above advice is perfectly accurate and couched in the simplest of terms, but it might as well be written in Mandarin for all I can make of it. Just not my century.
 
Hi Rob,yes on the same device ,click on it just get the box http and the word insert, doesn"t go to browse and click on it etc just stay blank, or drag (if that"s an option)

Thanks Quentin, that's the clue I needed. Couldn't see the permission issue as Admin. Permissions for registered users now updated so you should be able to use the attachment feature in conversation (PM) as well as normal posts.
