Hi all,

I used to own one, but was forced to sell, because of a divorce :((. Now ready to buy another one... (Pleeeeaaaaaase let there still be one for sale somwhere....)
Very hard to come by, so hope anyone might know where one could be tracked down... :)

Thanks!!
Kind regards,
Thirza

Are you looking for ANY 750 S Formula or a specific model, please? There are 3 different types of them I think:
-black/orange (early ones)
-silver or blue orange
-same but model 2000 specs (upgraded engine with different cam/chip, 5-spoke wheels etc.)

On the 650 Formula the carbon covering was just a slip on, so perhaps a previous owner has removed the outer carbon cover? However, 750 silencers, to my knowledge, were more oval than round, and as these ones look round to me they are probably a replacement, perhaps as a result of crash damage?

Do the front disc look different? Don't think their original

Well spotted, they are aftermarket items. The original ones are round and drilled. Front huger was available in painted (either silver or blue) as the standard or in carbon fibre as an option afaik.

here a picture of a 1999 model but also with aftermarket mirrors:

Hello Thirza,

Must be your lucky day. I sell my Laverda 750 Formula black/orange. Dutch road registation. I am 60 km away from you.

For me, all Zanes are... but I grew up (motorbike wise) in the 80's where GSX-R's were THE street bikes and when I saw a 650 Laverda first time, I was completely in love. Went to the factory in the 90's when they opened up again and saw the production. made me reconsider... scratches in the valve seats and several other desasters were obvious...

Then I got the chance to ride a 750 S in 1997 up the Monte Grappa. What a flicker... loved everything of that bike... when the black orange formulas came out, I wrote an e-mail to Moto Laverda, suggesting a complete change of colors with more orange and less black. A respectful negative answer was received...

one and a half years later, the orange-silver and orange blue models were introduced... Not saying it was based on my suggestion (allone), but I knew I had to have one... one time... in 2003, I go the chance to buy the 2000 Model I own since. engine has been re-worked by OCT before I bought it from them and all I changed since then are the standard things. Lovely little bike and with the kilometers I ride every year, it will outlast me easily...
