As a recent Lav owner myself I found a couple of items (apart from changing the oil almost daily…) that hadn’t been on my mental checklist with previous bikes but definitely benefit from a check occasionally to prevent hassle later. Others may chime in with more but these come to mind:
Starter sprag clutch: springs, rollers and plungers wear out and cause damage to other starter parts but are cheap and easy to buy, other parts are more difficult. And always have a good battery.
Centre stand pivots like a grease
Primary drive chain is easy to find and replace, sprockets aren’t, so replace the chain regularly.
Watch the final drive chain, it tightens more than I expected with suspension travel (yours may be different, I’ve got a later model)
