SF 750 Engine for sale

Hi All,

I have a SF 750 Twin engine for sale.

Engine turns freely by hand.
Never been opened.

It was at some stage painted in black ..
I cleaned it basically and removed the ugly paint as much as I could.
And needs some more obviously.

I bought it some year ago from our good friend and forum member MarnixSFC.

Too many project on the list so it has to go.

Asking price EUR 1,5K €.

.. but/and open to fair offers

There's been almost no response.

Stephane, €1500 is a totally ridiculous price.
You'll find that it will sell for a few hundred €.
You cannot function with the prices of 5 to 10 years ago.

Difficult to sell an engine, that's robust to start with, from a motorcycle that nobody is riding anymore.

That's the way of things.
We all have motorcycles and parts that were worth something. It's simply difficult to accept that they aren't worth much any more and that these things to which we are attached are sometimes simply not worth much more than scrap metal.

I have no problem accepting a loss in value Paul.

You mean a 750 engine with carbs, in decent presumed condition?
€500 seems a good price to me, as long as it has a starter motor.
A complete 750 in decent nick is in the €5 to 6000 in spite of some ludicrous prices being flashed about.
