Anybody removed one of these without breaking it?
I want to replace bearings and it sits like it is welded and will break with too much force.

Heat and a three arm puller I?ve tried. I?ll try supporting under the inner part and pressing, it as well as heat. I have tried a few other gennys in the past and always given up, chickened out with so much force on the puller.

Suport the pulley across a couple of pieces of wood.
Let the dynamo hang free underneath.
Heat, penetrating oil and whack the end of the dynamo shaft.
Salt, pepper. Serve with a glass of San Pelegrino.

mo better...

Done mine a couple of times - don't recall a problemo. Support the alloy pulley as close to the shaft centre as poss - but you'll know that already! More heat!! Sometimes things need a hard CRACK to jolt them into sumbmission. Big Thor copperhead hammers are great for that.  :D
