Hello all, can you confirm suitable fork oil for an early Ceriani SF750 front end (drum brake), I see from my Green book the quantity is 170cc of SAE10, just wanted to check your experience before I fill them, done the seals etc obviously. Incidentally I have found that the dynamo belt somebody pointed me at (Z19.5/ 10 x 500) is far too tight, it would eat the bearings it was so tight, i tried it today and have now ordered one at least 20mm longer, I will report what that fits like when I get it. I use a UK engineering supplier that has useful little on line tool for sizing belts, their system said 524mm, the closest they have is 520mm so I wil try that

is it a dynamo or an alternator, the alternator type has a longer outer cover for obvious reasons as in ex Kuwat GTL.

Take it your talking about Cerriani 35's. Yes 10 SAE Bel Ray if they are in top condition perhaps 15 weight if not, 20 weight is HELL and time to rebuild your forks.

You should always flush out and refill your forks every 2 years.
