SF / Jota engine side covers

Question for you experts out there,

I have heard about possible interchangeability between 750SF starter/dynamo drive covers etc from one to another but not the other way round or something similar?

I will be removing my standard Dynamo and fitting an alternator ring elsewhere so don't need the front extension.  I don't like to just blank it off as it then looks like there is something missing, so I either have to make a one off cover, or do something else.

Main Q is,
does anyone know how close these two covers are to fitting existing mounting holes etc?   if at all?

Hello, Julian.

I think you mixed it up with the sprocket cover.

The small triangular polished cover that covers the shift mechanism is the same
on both.
