Take it to a paint shop and they will colourmatch it.
Any time I give my painter a definitive reference code for a paint colour he does not have it in his database so he matches it from a sample. Hence the reason I borrow NOS sidepanels from Richard.

I've given the painter a sidepanel.. he wanted to know the precise code if poss as a starting point.. makes life easier all 'round, especially with faded 70s psychadelic metallics..  :o

Laverdamania lists it as:-

Or m?tallis? - Metallic gold
750 S, SF, 1000

Thanks for that Andy,
Is your paint solid colour or metallic? I guess you can't tell in this low resolution photo but the finish is metallic

hi andy, not sure what the mix is and as far as posting a picture on the site goes i'am a ludite. but if go  to ILOC 2011 AGM somebody took a few pictures in the carpark of my gold jota with a tank bag on, thats my bike and the same paint as my sf1. 8)
safe riding regards andy

My SF was originally painted gold. The Suzuki color listed in JLO's site is the closest match I could get to the original paint underneath the tank and also compared with several photos in different books. The Suzuki paint has just a little metallic in it which fits to the style of paints used at that time of production. I love the gold Jotas but this is a darker tone than what the 750s used. It's a Laverda so it'll look good regardless what color you use.

Hi Rob,

The Jota does indeed look good, however, I must say it does, as Tom's pointed out, appear to be a completely different colour... :o
