SF rear brake crossover conversion

Finally, after help from a few members, I have all SF3 gear crossover parts.
However, the SF3 is rear disc while my SF2 is a rear drum so I need to work out an alternative cable actuator crossover system.
I heard that the early 3C used a crossover shaft underneath the motor.
Has anybody got any drawings or pictures?

Cheers,
Rob

Inreresting thanks.
So it looks like Marnix suggestion is simplest.
I just need to weld a cable sleeve bracket on the RHS.

My 3c came exactly like that and after it being 10 years old, every second gear change would find a false neutral and the rear brake with the insanely long cable, slightly along the right over the rear guard and back down the left made for a pretty unresponsive brake. I guess lubing the cable might have worked and reducing any bearing slop in the crossover might have reduced false nutrals but I gave up and converted to right gear shift and left rear brake. Seemed a better solution. The only issue was that more direct access to the rear brake made it dangerously more touchy, the fix was stronger internal return brake shoe springs. If you're really committed to a left-side gear change then so be it.

I also need to ask the obvious regarding the SF3 gear crossover position.
Does the crossover shaft pass over the top of the rear case bolts since there is usually exhaust collector box issues underneath a twin.
The linkages all seem to line up.
