Hi all

with a lot of sadness, I am in the position to abandon my sf project.
SF1 750 1975 with no papers. Chassis and engine serial matching.
Engine cases vapor blasted. The engine has a missing starter motor and had to remove con rods and pistons as damaged. No damage to the cylinder barrels.
Con rods roller bearings missing but I do have the aluminum rollers cages. The crankshaft was disassembled and the Cylinder head is complete.
Transmission complete with clutch (not checked) and primary chain.
Forks and wheels. Despite being a 1975 model, the front wheel has a disk brake with a matching forks attachment.
Fuel tanks and other minor parts.
For more details, please do not hesitate to ask.

I am selling the "bike" as a whole.
I am open to (considerate) offers.
The bike is in Kent, UK.
I can send pictures.

Thank you.

Raf

That's a bummer you have to sell off your project bike, Raf. Just for the record the SF1 is generally regarded as a 1973 model. The disc brake SF2 is a 1974 model and the cast wheel SF3 is a 1976.

Having the SF2 front end should make your bike more attractive to buyers (like me) who aren't enthralled with the braking power of the big front drum. Good luck with the sale - shipping to Australia counts me out - and I have two SFs still in bit anyway!!

Hi

You're right. I mixed the year with my cb350. It's a '73 SF1 vin 146xx.
I know it sucks, but having no time at all, and now also the space to work on it anymore, is awful anyway.
Thanks for the message and good luck with your 2 SFs.
