SF1 Loom on SF2

Lads,

I just bought one of Wolfgang's SF1 looms for my SF2 restoration; apart from the Lucas switches, are there any other differences between the two? My amateur review of the diagrams says not really. But I'm certainly no electrician.

Thanks -

Yes.
If I remember, on the SF1, the electrical junction box of tricks is near the steering stem, it's under the back of the tank on the SF2.

I too prefer it the way my SF1 came - two rewires and it's still under the tank. And if you move the front coil or replace it with a smaller modern one, you get a stack more space. You can also simplify the wiring loom considerably with a little thought, although my SFQ has four relays so it went back the other way a little!
