Bis repetita.Remove the cover plate, it is fixed by a rivet which can be torn out. Then use the key and turn the lock same way as you want to close the lock and pull it out.
Good to know. Drilling is a right pain and puts swarf everywhere.You don’t need to drill it. You can punch it inwards about 3mm which breaks the head off the holding screw, then pull out the lock.
Easy and very quick with the headstock disassembled, slightly trickier with everything assembled.
