I have a secondhand one of these (Staintune stainless) that I'd be happy to sell. It was fitted to an SF1 with what I believe were std headers but it hung way too low for my liking. It just looked wrong to me, and the mufflers were almost parallel to the ground, making it look like a hyena dragging its arse!
I ended up having the headers bent up a little further and having a straight joining pipe fitted and mounted the mufflers higher on the rear frame bracket. The upsweep looked great and cornering clearance was vastly improved. Noise was not an issue - passed Victorian RWC no prob. I don't think the crossover pictured reduces noise anyway.
Let me know it you want it, and I'll take a few pics. Staintune don't list anything for Laverda any longer, but a similar part for bevel Dukes is AUDS$300. You can have mine for AUD$120 +shipping.

Great pic Q!. I do remember that red mane flyin in the breeze. Your SF sounded great with the Conti mufflers(Ha) on the end of the exhaust with no crossover. You could hear your bike coming up Lesmurdie Rd long before you got there, Cheers.

Yeah LMAO, Hobbs would leave the cheap peanut in the pantry and hide the good stuff in the washer with the mangle.
