Sf2 headlight ears

There are differing lengths according to Fork Manufacturer, Marty.
Don't know if any 750s had Marzocchis but, on Triples, the Ceri ones are shorter than the Marzo ones, I believe.
Hopefully, someone will pop up with the dimensions.

I have this pair available, 38mm holes and 165mm long. They have been rechromed and and are really nice although not 100% perfect I would say 95%... I got them with spares that came with my SF1 so they are not required. I don’t know the value and would just appreciate a fair price as the money goes back into the bike so look on it as a double investment in our hobby

IIRC SF1/2/3 had one piece chromed brackets - the ones with rubber bosses were for triples (and maybe other earlier models?).

I'll measure mine tonight, but they are a bit short. The 3C ones are way shorter, headlight rattles around

SF2 supports are 1 piece integral with ears and measure 135mm.

I believe that all the twins with the early style headlight with the "key" switch in the top of the shell used the early 2-part ears with rubber mounting so that's all the GT, all the S, early SF, and all GTF models. The single piece style was used with the later small diameter shallower shell.
The GTL with its larger diameter later style headlight also used two part ears though not the same as that earlier type, I think they are the same as on 38mm 35mm Ceriani-forked triples.
On reflection, that's probably why the headlamp filaments of my SF2 would break so often, usually at the most inopportune time.

Ok, 3C cylinders are 140mm, ones I have for the 750 are 160, with some rubbers either end would build up to 165, so your on the money with 165mm. I think my cylinders will clean up, so now just looking for some straight ears

SF2 chrome tubes, 135mm, 145 between fork clamps
750S: 155mm
1000 3C: 140mm
500: 155mm

Distance between fork clamps might vary depending on what top bearing and washer arrangement people use. I'd expect 3C and SF2/3 to be the same - unless the head tube in the frames are of different lengths ... maybe someone can measure that?
