Earlier models had 2 part supports.IIRC SF1/2/3 had one piece chromed brackets - the ones with rubber bosses were for triples (and maybe other earlier models?).
I believe that all the twins with the early style headlight with the "key" switch in the top of the shell used the early 2-part ears with rubber mounting so that's all the GT, all the S, early SF, and all GTF models. The single piece style was used with the later small diameter shallower shell.Earlier models had 2 part supports.
