SF2 speedo drive

My SFC replica doesn't have a speedo drive gear in the brake housing, nor does it have the corresponding worm wheel bit at the end of the cable.

I've looked in the usual places but haven't been able to find anyone with parts they're willing to sell.

Any pointers from anyone ?

SFCs don't have all that, apart from American models which is a pity.
If you want to be road legal, why not use a bicycle speedo to keep Mr Plod happy and the bike pretty?

I assume you have the SF2 disk brake front wheel, try Wolfgang in Canada.
An alternative, as Paul mentioned, is a speedo like the Sigma MC 10.

Hi Gareth99, drum or disc brake front wheel? Ciao, Gert

Sorry, I should have been much clearer. It is a Twin Leading Shoe front brake.

These drums were fitted to a variety of bikes and paired to a variety of speedos.

Knowing what type of speedo is fitted or the exact ratio that is required would be a start...

Thanks Piet. From what I can gather, it will be easier to get a speedo to fit the drive than the other way round !
