Removed the cylinder head today. Nobody warned me that the front camchain end would leap off the sprocket and fall into the engine :'(. The rear end is securely held by "iron wires" as recommended in the Laverda book. I can see the chain down the cylinder barrel tunnel.
Question 1: Will I be able to fish out the camchain when the barrel is off?
I want to order new piston rings from Wolfgang asap.
Question 2: Where do I find any markings on the pistons to identify whether standard or oversize?
Cheers
