SF750 clutch

After inspecting the clutch on the SF, I found the hub is just about knackered, every rivet and pin has cracks around it, looks like it would not have lasted much longer

I will post a wanted ad, unless anyone has one in good order that they can live without - prefer UK

triple and twin clutches are near identical but differing sizes, so they don't interchange, try the Trail Bike store in Caterham, Surrey, two months ago they were breaking a twin and couldn't sell anything beyond the carbs and the (must have been) gold plated starter motor.

I thought actually that there has been a big demand of spare parts last months due people having more free time, or I heard... apparently we were mistaken🤷🏼‍♂️ Then prices should drop🤪🤣

Demand for spare parts has collapsed.
I imagine a lot of people have other preoccupations than old metal, have seen a substantial drop in revenue and don't ride their bikes because of movement restrictions.

Those are not cracks, almost every Laverda clutch casting looks like that.  The marks are casting flaws, totally irrelevant as they in no way impair structural integrity of the component.

Problems usually only crop up when the rivets are removed without giving the procedure any further thought...

I second what Piet says. Every Lav clutch I've seen has that slightly crazed look. Any imperfections rarely interfere with the actual parts of the clutch assembly that incur the major stresses in operation.
 
I would say that bike was operated by a rider that doesn't know how to operate a clutch - Like revving the engine and dumping the clutch or slam shifting - I would look for knackering of the the gears in the tranny as well.

Possibly the drum was not torqued and centered properly.

One thing about the SF 750 clutch pack is to be very careful to follow torque specs when torquing them small bolts to hold in the disks and not strip or crack the threads in the stanchions.

Some of that junk doesn't even look like a Bregtanzie 750 clutch basket !
