Anyone know what the dimensions are for the O-ring on the rev counter drive on the cylinder head of the SF750, its shown as part No51 in the diagrams but no sizes given

I think its 17mm OD x 14.5mm ID x 1.5mm thick but mine is not round and rock hard so could be 2mm thick, it has to be replaced

Would appear to be 17 x 14 x 1,78

Hello all, I have found some o-rings, this is bastard size though, there is a BS standard that I assume determines the fit, it came out as 1.78mm thickness and 14mm bore, but obviously if you multiply 1.78 x 2 the OD comes to 17.56mm so it may not fit but we will see, they are only coppers from my UK engineering supplier

On another note does anyone know if ALL SF's have the thrust washers above and below the tacho shaft drive, they are shown on the manual but mine has none. Everything was bagged and labeled when I dismantled it so they must not have been there. If anyone has a couple I would appreciate it, if not I'll have to ask Andy Wagner

I doubt that putting a 2 mm O ring in lieu of the 1.78mm one will cause a problem.
I haven't got a tacho drive to hand but those washers look pretty standard.
Andy Wagner does have a habit of selling things that can be found at the local do it yourself shop.

Thanks Paul, I've just ordered the o-ring and washers from Andy. One less problem to concern me, I can get on with fitting the barrels and head now
