Sfc 750 replica

Hi
I have both a 750 sfc replica with mostly all right part on it , but quite bad put together.
So I had to take it to pieces and put it back together as right I can .
There will be a few questions about small things that I want to fix as I want to have it as near the original as I can.
-On a 74 ,is the speedo gear on the front hub , or is the flange on the hub shaved off?
- the asymmetrical steering stop on the lower fork clamp, pic
- zink on the frame it will be , but is also fairing bracket and center stand zink ?
And finally ,the front battery tray holder supports bracket can’t find anything about that!

Speedo gear is on the hub I believe.
Centre stand and fairing bracket are zinc plated.
For the rest, I'd need to consult the parts list, I can't remember offhand.

Fairing bracket and centrestand are silver paint.
The 74 has a unique frame, the seat rails being lower.
The front hub has the flange but not the gear. The drive unit is replaced by a spacer. Unless of course it's a replica of US spec model.

Rob’s replies are all correct, Paul’s all wrong. Peder shows the wrong side of the 74 SFC, since the speedo drive would be mounted on the r/h side.

Indeed the 1974 US model SFC came with a speedo drive, as did the Elettronicas that came with ND clock for certain markets. The other disc brake production models came with a non polished front hub without a speedo gear pressed on.

Drum brake SFCs are a different story since virtually every part that was bolted on the frame was painted black.

However, my Electronica has always had a speedo drive and yet only a Smiths rev counter which is no doubt original.

Front hub and zink questions solved, tanks.
So what about the steering stop , according to Ian Fallons book the should be tow eccentric adjusters and not the SF brackets that I have today ( the stop on the front of the steering head I have) .

.. and here’s the battery tray bracket, on the ex Larry Strung SFC that has no battery tray but now acts as a mounting point for the coils, so it is easier to show.
