Sfc frame

Good evening all,

Would anyone know where I can find some detailed photos of a genuine 72/73 Sfc frame, particularly the battery tray area and surrounding brackets/lugs. I have managed to find a few pics online but they don’t show everything too clearly.

I have a 1:1 scale drawing of SFC frame. Can’t recall which year. I’ll dig it out of the shed, see if it’s of any use.

72, there weren't any production 73 frames.

Have dug out drawing. Sorry, is for a disk braked SFC. Not complete pic anyway. Is rear of frame, shows down tubes, engine mounts, side panel mounts, shock mounts, seat mounts, foot peg plates, rear hub, swingarm sections-caliper mount.

Since 1973 was a transition year from drum to disc brake SFC with, as Paul mentioned, no production runs, some drum brake SFC were built on customers request, which had the big battery tray bolted directly to the frame, and a handful of prototype disc braked SFCs were built, with a smaller battery tray mounted on silent blocks just like the production bikes that came in 1974 and which were maintained until end of production in 1977.
The photos Peder posted show my 1973 Bol d’Or SFC, which was an exception because it did have disc brakes and a smaller battery tray that was bolted to the frame without silent blocks In the same fashion as the drum brake SFC.
I know it’s a bit confusing..

Thanks for explaining a few details for me Marnix. I have owned a triple for many years but have only recently acquired a 750 so I’m still a bit green! I wrote 72/73 in my original post as i thought, incorrectly, that there was a small number of the drum brake models made in 73 and the disc brake models were introduced from 74. The pictures I am looking for, and the one I am trying to replicate, is of the large frame mounted battery tray model. I have found numerous pictures but most have the battery in situ, which hides some of the bracketry.
