SFC on BaT

Nice but bike has been restored & it seems that bike is being offered as original. Research "Laverda 17148" for loads of info. $75k USD? No chance-I'd be amazed if bike breaks $50k USD & astounded if $60k USD is realized!

I guess they should have left it stock with the ugly mirror and turn-signals ....... they would have upped the value at least $10,000.

Bit shocked by the low price given BaT's reputation and sales history. BaT is great for 60s and 70s Japanese trail bikes, and Puch Maxi mopeds. Some things do very well, crazy prices, while more real bikes that I would want, classic EU super bikes, not so much. 90s Ducatis do relatively better than 70s bevels. Saw a Honda GB500 fetch $15k and a Puch Maxi $5k, also a late 60s Honda 110 trail bike go for $12 grand.

15K for a Honda GB500 - I know where's one just a few miles from me. Low mileage Spectacularly Original and he could not sell it for 1500 !

Other then the Honda CB500 is a Great Ride. Be on guard with your Breganzie 750 or that CB 500 could snuff you out.

I preferred the handling characteristics of the CB 500 to the CB 750 and loved the CB 450 ;o)

Perhaps the GB500 (Clubman?) is a rare bike in North America. Here in Germany they are plentiful, all came over from North Amercia around 1990. Most still have the mph speedo. Apparently they did not sell in N A, and the market for retro classics was in Europe at the time. On average a low mileage example in good condition has a 3-5 K € asking price.
Puch Maxi is in the 200-500 € range here. Personally I'd look for M50 Jet or Cobra if I was in the market for a 49cc Puch.
