Sfc replica history?

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about a Sfc replica FTM448L. Built in 93.
For sale near me but very little history.
Supposedly built by someone quite well known in the Laverda scene, but his names a mystery.
Any info much appreciated.

Yes in England. Apologies I should have added more info.
The only information I have… although quite sketchy is that it’s a 1973 Sf1, imported to the Uk from Italy in 1993 around this time converted to look like a Sfc by a chap who had a shop working on Laverdas…
I have found a photo which I am pretty sure is the bike at Mallory parks festival of a 1000 bikes from 2012, and a sticker from that event is on the bike.

I think Alan Preston was still supplying conversion kit back in 1993 via his business Moto Prescaro. He was also selling ex-works SFC racers, and I bet the price you paid back then would make you cry today.

I remember Roger Winterburns Windy Corner having a couple of SFC`s , both Electronicas I think , going for £3-3500 in the mid `eighties , still quite a lot of money at the time , but nothing compared to today ........ Also Richard Slater asking for about £9k for one example of a similar SFC , around the end of the `nineties , or thereabouts ....... Might have smashed open an extra piggybank , if I knew then what we all know now ........

There was an Irish lad who used to come to the Long Marston ILOC Meetings, in the '70s, on an Electronica, with 'L' plates.
He rode on his Irish Provisional License, they had no 250cc limit.
He was very struck by mine and offered to swap. When I refused, he even offered the SFC plus money, I still declined.
On balance, I still think I made the right decision.
