Maybe good to have a look at Kriega bags. They offer a separate tank mount that you strap on the frame, and on this tank mount you can put various sizes 10, 20 or 30 liter bags.
I have actually seen a Ducati SS Bevel with a sidecar. It was at Cowes on Phillip Island when I was there for the MotoGP one year. I was wondering what kind of dickhead would do something like that until I saw him. When he dragged himself aboard the bike, he put Velcro straps over his feet, then folded his wheelchair, lifted it over the bike and dropped it into the sidecar. He had hand controls for gears and rear brake. Good on him.
There is a local guy that has a big Jappa with a sidecar. He has had the bike controls set up in the sidecar and drives/rides from there. No one on the bike. Looks pretty strange coming down the road. I believe he has no use of his legs.
The first time I saw the setup someone was doing donuts and smokies on the street outside my workshop. I didn't notice the guy in the sidecar at first and thought it must be remote control.
One Leg George from Mooroopna Vic (Lost his leg in a bike into car crash), used to ride a z900 outfit on the road and hopped on his Kawasaki Z1000 speedway outfit on Saturday nights at the track.
MULTI RESPECT.
There is a bloke who races solos at The Barry who is a multiple amputee. Is bloody fast as well.
