sfc with weird front assembly

I dont think this has been posted before but apologies if so

for sale by iconic out in Southern California but I think its actually located in NY area (east coast USA)

Never seen a front fork assembly quite like this

 
defeats the object of how the forks can be set up to be beautifull silky smooth in their operation.

This is most likely simply a monoshock suspension fork.
Easier and quicker to tune with probably a little less moving mass.

mmhh - take a closer look, I think to see on some pics that the Brake-line goes down to the lower part of the front suspension and then from there to the Brake Caliper...:

Looks to me as if the line from the top is connected to the left (in driving direction) Caliper, the lower of the 3 lines goes to the right caliper. The whole assempbly seems to be connected to the damper and on the opposit side, there seems to be an adjuster. What could this be if not a kind of anti-dive?

There seems also to be an adjuster on the top of the damper, which might controle rebound then?!?
 
For the collection of xxx, I read a story a while back about that bloke, built a full-size race track on this farm, apparently Lance built that bike, talk about living your dream. If you got the money HELL YER.
