Owner in Germany was Lothar Esser.Yes, that looks very nice, but I don't understand sellers not willing to get the bike running (if it does indeed run) and still expect to get premium price
A running Laverda?Yes, that looks very nice, but I don't understand sellers not willing to get the bike running (if it does indeed run) and still expect to get premium prices.
you outed me!!
well spoted, Gert. You might not believe it, but they are the original ones... Not sure what Laverda did there, but that's how it came to germany. The Bike has some special parts that identifies it's "prototype alike" state of build (though it's NOT the prototype, it was built and imported to Germany just before the first serial bikes and clearly after the prototype).… with this ugly LAVERDA lettering it will find no buyer!Ciao, Gert
of which bike, please? if we are talking about the 0001-bike, I assume the original ones are mounted; the ones from the factory prototype were quite colourful, see the write-up: https://www.laverda-register.de/Modelle_Technik/1000/Kontrollierte_Explosion.pdfWhat color were the original instruments? Is the seller Tim Parker?
